The app worked for a short while, and no longer returns any results even for broad searches like car. Ive logged out and back in, double checked settings, and nothing works. Please fix the app. Thanks.

This app gives amazing high quality images. But it crashes a lot when I try to email someone an image they may be interested in

Please Clear the history searches

This is a great app, however the updated iPhone version banished the grid to search through photos. It is extremely time consuming and there is nothing worse than having to scroll one by one through 300-500 photos of one event. The grid allowed a few quick swipes to get past a big event if need be. Please bring back the grid on iPhones. It was an essential search convenience feature within the app.

This is the buggiest app Ive ever used. It crashes constantly on an iPhone 5s with the latest OS updated.

For GIs newest update (2.0.1), if youre moving around from "Boards" to "Lightboxes", you have to sign in over and over again! This needs to be fixed ASAP. Also, when viewing Lightbox images (one at a time) and returning to the tile view, the refresh to a white screen is jarring as all get out. This needs to be fixed, too.

The previous app was so great and although I love the ideas on the new app, most dont function well. Images are very slow to load and I am on a fast wifi connection. Also there should be an option to load straight into editorial and skip creative. Hope some bug fixes come soon.

Love the ability to "follow" specific photographers.

Please make it black again, it really brought out the beauty of the photos. The darkness was the beauty of the app

Still trying to figure out what the notifications are for. Every now and then I see a notification badge in the corner of the app icon (number in a red circle), but when I open the app, I don’t notice any messages or anything that says “hey, this is that new thing we were notifying you about” (and I’ve checked the various pages/tabs at the bottom). As soon as I get out of the app, though, the notification badge goes away, so it’s at least easy to clear the notification… I just wish I knew what it actually was. :P Other than that, I look at the app from time to time, but not super often. I usually browse photo sites from my computer, while I’m working on a project (I’m a graphic designer). I can see how this app could be useful, just hasn’t been of much use to me as of yet.

I am really into creating boards with video clips as reference for graphic design/motion graphics projects unfortunately I am unable to access video boards through the app. Hopefully there will be an update to address this at some point.

Keeps saying user name is not available when I try to register. Tried 4 different (and unlikely already taken) usernames and nothing. Pretty sure they saved my email for that marketing opt in though.

App of the year! Great for students, artists, graphic designers, bloggers, writers, ad agencies, especially web designers and photographers alike. Signing up is an easy process; once the app tells you youve created a user name simply click the log in now icon and log in. Amazing images. You can even facebook your favorites to your friends and family for free. Im not an employee of Getty. Point in fact as a young artist the Getty Museum in California was one of my inspirations to become a fine artist. You will enjoy this app.

If you like viewing images with a "Getty Images" trademark plastered on it, this apps for you. I deleted it 1 minute after downloading it.

They will sue you even if there is a remotely commercial implication to your use of the image. Dont be tricked into using the embed code!! Its just not worth it.

Whats with all the logos. There everywhere and sometimes even blocking the image. What happened to this app. It used to be good.

Has all the events covered by Getty Images - very cool.

I cant even get into the app cause it keeps crashing every time I open it. Fix this.

Obviously when it comes down to the actual content of the app thats dependent on the photographers, but the all itself is very well made.
